Information Design

As part of Food Design Nation’s multidisciplinary residency initiative in O’Higgins, Chile, I was invited to design a series of infographic visuals for the launch of “Somewhere Called O’Higgins: La Lengua Chilena.” The project aimed to explore the overlooked narratives embedded in Chilean gastronomy through a hybrid residency and mobile exhibition format.

My visual design work focused on translating complex cultural, ecological, and gastronomic data into accessible and emotionally resonant infographic pieces. I drew on local motifs, culinary textures, and layered typographic systems to create a visual language that felt both grounded in place and globally relevant. The goal was to make the research immersive and digestible for diverse audiences—from local artisans to international collaborators.

The visuals were used across social and physical touchpoints, serving as entry points into the project’s deeper themes of food heritage, identity, and community resilience.
